Why would I go to Kensington for pizza when I live in DC??

We live in Fair Lakes now, though, so don't get there as often. Tony's NY in Fair Lakes is fine but we like King's New York Pizza off Lee Highway/Jermantown better. Haven't seen that mentioned.

~ grew up on Philly/Jersey shore pizza

Agreed!

I didn’t think King’s allowed you to order by the slice, though.

There are so many people on this forum who don’t live in DC.

Hot take from a former Chicago resident: Chicago deep dish isn't great. It sits in your stomach like a lead weight. Pizza should be foldable.

I like the molten pound of cheese!

Also we have been missing Chicago (excuse me, St Louis) deep dish ever since Pi went out of business.

A personal preference isn't a "hot take".

+1

Deep dish is sooo greasy. I’ll go to Giordano’s once but that will rid my cravings for another 10 years.

+2 - Giordano’s is stuffed pizza, IIRC, not pan pizza like Lou Malnati’s. And Giordano’s’ stuffed is very heavy. Not a fan.

RIP Edwardo’s and Bacino’s stuffed pizza, especially Edwardo’s stuffed spinach
