Also what's missing is how he/they afforded a multi-million dollar pad in Georgetown on DC journalist salaries. |
All of the gross old men who used her for attention and sex are still in their positions of prominence, but she's supposed to be jobless and out in the cold forever? Go suck Olbermann's left nutsack. |
He's a money-hungry chump who was happy to live off the proceeds of his girlfriend's success with older men and then wants to play victim now that their scheme is public. A complete loser. |
Admittedly I didn't read all of this, but if you agree that Ryan Lizza is a nasty, greedy little b-tch for trying to turn his ex-girlfriend's saga into a come-up for himself while pretending to be above it all, then we agree. |
Oh yes, we concur. I loved the part where he describes her angling for a wedding while he politely demures. Nothing says “I never wanted her” like a long-form article spilling all the deets a full year later. |
Um, she has a new job and a new book. Other than that, though… |
I don’t blame her for being strategic. I blame her for being an idiot. Sleeping your way up the ladder with bigger and bigger fish is like trying to graduate from being a low level drug dealer to the middle-man who moves the shit. You see enough of the good life so you want a bigger piece. But then the little guys slinging 8-balls drop a dime on you, and the guy above you making the real money says he never met you. So when you go down, you go down hard, and everyone else walks away whistling. This was a bad game for her to play and lose. And before anyone points to her NYTs puff piece or book deal, I’ll just say that that stuff has a funny way of drying up when you’re no longer photogenic. There’s nothing that these people crave more that legitimacy. That becomes harder to prove when it wasn’t there from the beginning. |
YES. That part was a complete own goal on his part. Nothing says duplicitous snake like posing as the blindsided innocent victimized by a man-eating bimbo while admitting you led her on with no intention of marrying her. She was supposed to stay loyal to a man who was knowingly wasting what he knew she considered her prime marriageable years? And the money-hungry, deeply envious way he catalogs the items she received from Olbermann is creepy as hell. He sounds a lot like an envious female competitor -- as if his real cause of his anger is that he isn't a woman who has the looks and game to attract financial and career support from successful older men. |
You're really relishing her fall, huh? She didn't just spread her legs and end up with nothing to show beyond the slimy leavings of some aging loser's penis. She parlayed her attractiveness into advantages and that's why you scolds are angry with her, isn't it? How dare she not be stupid and let men use her the way so many of you women have? How dare she use men back when men are supposed to be able to use and discard women at will? Oh, well. Women are wising up. Deal with it. Well, I have a feeling she'll land just fine. For all her faults, I see a real brain working in that head of hers. She'll be fine. I hope you can deal with that. |
| This woman isn’t really that attractive. How does she have all these men fawning over her? |
That's the question that makes you all so angry. What you fail to understand is that older men are desperate and stupid users who construct consuming a young woman's vagina as a locus of rejuvenation for their waning penises. Her youth is what she offers and all she needs to offer. Pathetic, isn't it? But such is the nature of the aging male. All men age into degenerate losers who seek to cannibalize the young. |
+1000 she looks like handsome Squidward |
The men she’s after aren’t attractive either. It’s a mid off. |
It sounds like he's born into wealth. |
| Do you guys think Olivia lurks here? This is a D.C. forum, after all. |
