Her endometriosis caused her to get a hysterectomy in her late 30s. I know that that can wreak havoc as well.

She’s been honest about trying Ozempic and having a bad reaction and stopping it. It seems like she has found something that works for her which she has been honest about as she does some of the advertising for one of the telehealth platforms that she says she gets her hormone therapy and weight loss meds from.

I I admire her honesty about all this, and we are certainly not owed any of it as it’s none of our business.

Also, celebs wipe their Instagram’s all the time for various reasons. Seems weird that the press just decided she wanted to get rid of fat pics.

I don’t think it is picking on her, I think it is legitimate to ask why she is erasing her past self. IMO it is pretty insulting to anyone who is fat or overweight to imply that once you become skinny, you can just erase that prior, “unacceptable” version of yourself from the record. Maybe she was unhappy while she weighed more (she had a lot of health issues that were surely a drag on her mentally and physically), but I really would hope to see her honor that part of her life and journey or at least not X it out.

OK, but you haven’t answered the fact that skinny actresses and musicians do this all the time and no one cares or says a word. So if you’re overweight and you wipe your insta you’re trying to erase your past self but if you do it when you’re skinny, you can have other legit reasons? That is picking on her for her weight.

OK, It is also bizarre when someone skinny does it. Does that help?

The point is we don’t pick it apart though do we? There’s not immediate articles all over about it.[b] But as soon as Amy does it it’s because she is suddenly skinny and wants to wipe out her fat pics. It doesn’t make any sense, especially since her brand is being very relatable, and baring it all. Her weight in an industry that values thinness, her endo, her difficult pregnancy, her marriage to someone on the spectrum, her Dad with MS….

It doesn’t really track that all of a sudden she is switching her whole brand and think she can convince everyone that she was never heavier. It’s really unlikely that she’s trying to do that and it’s just such a stupid media spin. She probably just felt like doing it as many other celebrities before her have.

There are, indeed, immediate articles when other celebrities wipe their social media.

It is also simply factual to state that Amy posted about her new appearance and then shortly after, deleted her social media history. Are you suggesting that there is no chance that those activities are connected in any way?

Finally, of course it doesn’t track that she is trying to “convince everyone that she was never heavier.” That’s ridiculous. But As you point out, she’s always been open, so of course people will wonder why she is wiping that all away.

Most celebs wipe their social media when they are in the midst of a [b]break up

The Daily Mail claims she is getting divorced. Not the DM is very reliable.

This is why I never post anything on social media. I don't need people analyzing why I deleted certain pics and added new ones. Yuck.

I can think of several celebs who wiped them before a big project. Taylor has been known to wipe her social media a few times before an album release but I know other actresses who do it as well.

In this case, it sounds like Amy might be divorcing. So even sillier that the media speculate that it’s because she’s getting rid of fat pics. Again this is speculation that’s skinny actresses don’t have to deal with and it’s absurd.

Multiple outlets say she’s divorcing.

Sadly a lot of relationships cannot handle extreme weight loss in a partner.

yea. I loved her because she seemed to be accepting of her weight and confident and attracting despite it (and she was attractive). But it was a front. Got how f'd up we are to women in this society.

Same goes for Mindy. LOVED that show - the mindy project. A sexy attractive confident chubby woman. All a front too.

Our poor girls.

I'm sorry, what? Fat women are not allowed to lose weight because you like the confidence that we have while fat? I'm losing weight for my health and also because my weight has fluctuated over the years and I notice how differently I am treated when I am fat vs when I was thin. If normal, boring, middle class me can notice that, imagine how it must feel for people like Amy Schumer and Mindy Kaling who are in the public eye! I say good for them - Mindy, for one, hasn't been open about how she lost weight (and she doesn't owe you that information by the way), but has said over and over that she did it for her health and so she can make sure she's around for her kids for a long time. She did it for her kids, she really could not care less about what people like you think. There is something seriously wrong with you.

I’m not that poster but Mindy was not fat. She was a totally normal size with a defined waist. I was disappointed when she lost the weight to be Hollywood thin. It was nice to have a confident actress who was normal healthy thin, not Hollywood thin. I think she looked better at her old weight. Obviously she can do what she wants but it’s just a little sad that we can’t have actresses that are a normal size.
Amy’s wife fluctuated a lot and I can see that at times it was probably unhealthy or uncomfortable. I do hope she sticks at a healthy weight and doesn’t feel pressure to go Hollywood thin.

At her heaviest she was fat. I personally think she lost too much weight - she had a cute curvy body when she was maybe 30-40lbs heavier than she is now, but at one point she was much heavier than that, and it wasn't great. I'm glad for her that she's happy, though. It's her body.

I just thought it was weird because I followed her for her content, not for influencer pictures - I don’t follow influencers precisely because I can’t stand all the self centered pics, and now that she’s lose weight it’s like she can’t get enough of herself.

Picture is morbidly obese and very unhealthy. Depression is often a cause of gaining that much adipose tissue.

Well, if anyone is interested, Amy Schumer‘s latest Instagram is pretty funny. She says she lost 50 pounds and named her weight loss drug, and she’s never felt better, that she doesn’t get Botox and fillers but she’s had other plastic surgery which she’s been honest about. I think she’s referring to the fact that she have lipo a few years ago.

She says whatever happens with her and Chris has nothing to do with autism her weight loss but she hopes they make it through because he’s the best.

The funniest thing is the comment section. There’s tons of celebs piping up their support, and Madonna is like you shouldn’t care what anyone else thinks just do what makes you happy - which made me laugh. Don’t think I knew Madonna was on Insta lol

Self-centered celebs pumping each other up publicly over social media is hilarious as well as the height of obnoxious. Their lack of self-awareness coupled with their never ending need for attention and *only positive* support is breathtaking.

Amy S has always seemed very needy with a mean girl tendency. She mercilessly went after the Kardashians for showing off their bodies and then as soon as she dropped some weight she did the same thing. And when she got famous, she glommed onto Kim. She’s the posture girl for basic striver: insecure and inauthentic…and just not nice.
