What are the best things you did for your health?

A lot of these replies are based on confirmation bias. If someone is lucky to be in good health, she will attribute it to whatever her habits are, rather than genetics or luck.

That said, quitting a stressful job was one of the best moves for my mental and physical health.

Mine have been gradual and cumulative:

Left toxic work/job of 15+ years
Prioritized yoga over HIIT workouts (they were putting my nervous system/cortisol into overdrive)
better dental hygiene (Waterpik, flossing, etc.)
Walk when I feel my emotions are getting the best of me
Reach out to people more when I start to feel lonely or focus on negative aspects that I have no control over
Accupuncture
HRT
Reduced processed foods + alcohol

I actually answered as someone who is in pretty bad health due to an autoimmune disease and neurological disorder. But my dermatologist is very complementary of my lack of sun damage and the GLP one has my numbers in and excellent range (to be fair. Those were always good. I was just extremely overweight.)
