Oh, sure, it's the Dems that are prolonging this. Remind me again, who controls all branches of the government? |
We aren’t apathetic. I don’t want my premiums skyrocketing. That will affect me more than the government staying closed. Feds have cushy insurance so they don’t care if others get screwed on insurance. |
Huh? As if Feds dont have family members like retired elderly parents who could see their premiums skyrocket.... |
| We are already in our chosen destination...in Europe. |
Maybe there will be a calm TG this year because less people want to travel... |
Well that’s a conundrum I guess. But I don’t trust R’s to do anything about insurance once the government reopens. They need to deal now. |
Have you always had such a stunning lack of imagination or is this a more recent phenomenon for you? |
Am thinking I am going to suggest to our DC to see if they can line up alternative plans in case there are no/limited flights. |
I have, and haven't enjoyed it. Thanksgiving is one of the few times during the year where my kids can see all their cousins and extended family and everyone of all ages gets together for food and socialization without the pressure of work and school and activities. Binge watching TV doesn't compare. |
Tell your leaders to stop the filibuster and do it without Democrats negotiation. |
Yes they're not getting long delays or cancellations because people are working without pay literally said everything was fine it's fine because people are showing up for work without pay. |
| We had already cancelled travel plans due to not being paid during the shutdown. |
Is Medicare skyrocketing? Or mainly Obamacare since the subsidies will expire soon? |
I like the filibuster, even if I don’t like how it is being used now. Removing it will make the government much more volatile and that is bad for everyone. Be very careful what you wish for, removing that. |
We all know they will get paid, this doesn’t help you like you think it does. |
