| Depends. Is it a tramp stamp? |
The whole thread is a troll thread, starting with the OP. |
What makes it a troll thread? Its mostly a discussion about religion, which is the point of this sub-forum. |
It's not a troll thread, this question is one that I have wondered about for a while. |
PhD's in theology - what a laugh. Just more grifting from schools of "theology" to make a buck. PS - the fact that there are PhD's in theology doesn't make theology real -- it just means that people have studied it a lot and gotten PhD's in it. Not too many people bother with it these days. They know it's a dying field. |
They have to somehow create a facade of authority. How else would they perpetuate millennia old myths? |
+1 and I bet that most phd's in theology don't believe it themselves. After all -- they studied it academically and know it's a bunch of myths. |
Of course you do. You have a choice to get tattoo or not. But God warned you about the consequences. Wait 20 years with your tattoos and come tell us all your diagnoses. |
Ah, plastic surgery is also a sin. So are operations to separate conjoined twins. |
according to Leviticus, only |
Even Bible believers don't hesitate to have plastic surgery if they want it. |
Reading comprehension, dude! "... if everything is already pre-determined" = no free will (its an allusion if you believe God is omnipotent and omniscient). |
DP. As a non-Christian, this was very helpful. |
Of course you realize that pp was telling you what people from the reformed Protestant tradition BELIEVE. That's not to say that it is a fact or even that other traditions believe that. Have you read the 10 commandments lately? The part of the Bible that pp says still applies? The first several commandments are all about who's in charge. |
