Hahahaha. If your kid is on a top team have them tell their coach that they dont plan to play in college. Unless they're a unicorn the coach will drop them for players that want to play in college. Go play rec. |
| Most boys won't play in college at all. |
You are instigating for your own defarious purposes on a thread unrelated to your magnum opus of crap. Please be self absorbed on your one hit on a related thread. |
Looks like people dont share your opinion. Maybe you should just let it go. |
Get over it, man, it's all rec, everybody be doing some random job a few years later. Coaches coach for wins. |
This guy also gets it - Please stop. You’ve already ruined the ecnl age change thread. Just move on and worry about your own kid.- |
They were talking to you. |
This is logical and makes sense. Why are some (probabaly one person) fighting against it so much? |
Its a littles parent that doesnt understand how college recruiting works or its a parent with an August birthday + younger player that wants to play on a grade down team. |
Stop responding to yourself |
Thank you! |
Rule of thumb says youngest kids in age group don't get to play in college. They increased probably of quiting soccer then playing another sport.Choosing to be even younger than youngest is not good idea.Thinking about playing in college for your 6 year even worse idea. |
|
I don't see how this is at all complicated.
Clubs will have tryouts like usual, and sort the kids into teams like usual. |
If a kid is significantly younger than the 8/1-7/31 eligibility window. Their parents started them early or they skipped a grade. |
Its not complicated. Unfortunately with SY a door has been opened for Aug and younger birthdays to play on a grade below them team. Most clubs wont allow this and will put these players on their grade B team if they cant make the A team. |
