You're missing the point. PP was likely at an unhealthy BMI when she started weight loss injections and now continues taking them to maintain her HEALTHY weight at 19 BMI. She didn't start taking GLP-1 with a 19 BMI. Again, I think this is some warped thinking on your part. BMI 25 is outside of the healthy range even if it means you wear a US size medium and look 'normal' compared to your (also largely overweight) peers. |
I’m assuming this is one of frequent ED posters who show up on the diet threads. |
No, I have no idea that she was overweight. Lots of posters with eating disorders on DCUM. |
A BMI under 17 is unsightly. Those people have no muscle mass. And apparently osteoporosis. But keep bragging about it. You sound foolish. |

I am 43, and east Asian, so need to reference that for skin.
I don’t do that much. Dance class 2x a week and then a general active lifestyle. Paula’s Choice cleanser, BHA, retinol booster, Hada Lobo/RoC moisturizers. Hair I keep long and don’t have many grays. I got bangs - someone told me they’re a “poor woman’s Botox.” I intermittent fast and this keeps my skin and weight in check. I need to work on getting more sleep. |
Ok, so if you have no idea then why would you assume she WASN'T on maintenance for GLP-1 when that is the most likely explanation. Again, 19 is a healthy BMI. |
Nope, I live alone. |
Well, I don't stink today. Today was Shower Day. And I have a doctor's appointment Saturday so that'll be another Shower Day. |
I suppose this is a serious question? There are some prolific posters on DCUM who prattle on for paragraph after paragraph about going from a BMI of 21 to 19 using GLP1s. The poster you are defending writes just like them. |

44, no real beauty routine. I shower daily, wash my hair, shave, wear light makeup, and try to wear clothes that fit. Hair is my natural color, my nails are short, clean, and unpainted. I've tried botox but haven't done it in a while. No fake lashes, fillers, etc.
But I workout 6 days a week and am strong and in shape. |

Highlights every 6-8 weeks Botox around eyes every 4-6 months AM: Wash, Paula’s Choice toner, Vit C serum, lotion, tinted sunscreen and eye balm PM: Wash, rx tretinoin, night cream & eye balm Heavy weights with a trainer 1x/week, yoga Facelift, necklift, and upper bleph this past summer because no serum or exercise routine could fix turkey neck and heavy face lines |
You need a lot for your age. |

+1. |
I like you, PP. Carry on with your chill self. |
