I feel sorry for their poor children. But the adults in the house are guilty of visiting horrors on other people's children, notably leaving them bereft when their parents are kidnapped and disappeared. I agree with you in theory but not in this specific situation: writings in chalk that do not threaten anyone can hardly be traumatic. It's the parents who are crying wolf to get sympathy from their supporters, and they're the ones traumatizing their own children by making such a big deal out of it and moving houses. The rest of us see them for the liars they are. They have perpetrated actual physical harm on thousands of others, including children, so no, I utterly reject your argument.

100% agree children should be protected from harm and harassment but yet I’m also a grown adult who, apparently unlike you, has achieved conservation of volume or whatever allows me to decipher the difference between two and 20 thousand children (and therefore someone saying she hates people chalking outside the mcfarmhouse MORE than the mastermind of ice are unserious thinkers.)
