This is an article about people with different sexual orientations entering into legal marriage in the full knowledge of each other's orientation or asexuality. Essentially, it's about love that transcends gender.

Np. That makes a lot of sense to me. I’m in a straight marriage but it is mostly sexless at this point for various reasons, yet we’re both still happy.

It’s not a connected relationship, with orgasms, anniversaries, deep affection. You wouldn’t want that for your kids and you know it.

Well yes. History is quite clear that societies with marriage with multiple partners are much less prosperous and much less stable. It is in the interest of societies which are prosperous and stable to promote the structural values to replicate themselves.
