| Win what? There’s nothing to win here that Nicole hasn’t already won. Calm down. |
Because someone will be seen with a GF or BF. |
That's not true and shows you know nothing about it. She's got some years left for female lead roles until her face looks too old. And that's what she's aiming for. Longevity at the top. Then she's in line for the extra awards like "the entire body of work" and "exceptional contribution to the art". Which the men get a lot more than the women... BECAUSE intelligent male actors have more longevity on the job than intelligent female actresses. And after that, if she's VERY lucky, roles will dry up but if she doesn't get dementia or die from cancer, she might join the rarities like Judi Dench or Maggie Smith. If this is what she wants, you shouldn't denigrate that, PP. Women are allowed to seek out these things. |
Stop projecting. |
Or they're about to file |
So many people have wondered if their relationship suffered because of how busy they were so I am not shocked. I think they tried to overcompensate on the red carpet. You can't have intimacy when you're barely around each other. Not to be too personal but menopause could also play a role here. |
| Seems really sad. 19 years is a lifetime in Hollywood. |
? Maybe see yourself out if you can't contribute rationally. Adults are talking here. |
Agreed and I think it has more to do with the way she grew up. She had always said her mom was very critical and harsh of her. That stuff does kind of mess with you. That's not us saying she doesn't love them or doesn't have a bond with them. It also doesn't mean she's a bad person either. Her priorities are just different. |
Oh yes, you are Nicole’s spokesperson. The true adult in the room. |
Nicole is different though. She likes (and produces) those weird indie like projects. She'll always find roles and projects to take on. That's why most of her new projects aren't very good. I don't think it has anything to do with her chasing longevity and has more to do with her being a workaholic. |
It's sad. It's sad when any married couple splits, especially one with children.
That doesn't mean the men end up with happy home lives. I read several articles about Robert Redford's career after his death. They mentioned that he and his first wife made a joint decision to make Utah their home and raise their kids there, not in Hollywood. But Redford said that the marriage fell apart because he was rarely home. I don't think there are a heck of lot of men happily married to their first wives in Hollywood. |
Shocked this was his first marriage. They married after 6 months so 19 years is a huge success. His side said they aren't surpised by the news and it was inevitable. That makes me wonder why Nicole's side said she was blindsided? Sometimes people ignore issues and downplay them until it gets to the point the other person is completely done. Then they try to frantically fight for the relationship when they should've been doing that from the beginning https://people.com/keith-urban-nicole-kidman-split-wasnt-secret-to-friends-exclusive-source-11821109 |
My husband and I always laugh when her AMC intro comes on |
|
I find her super, super annoying and her US accent is bad, all one note. It makes me want to scream.
And the AMC ads are HorRIBLE. |
