You're relying on the iPhone to log your steps?

M'kay; now the absurdity of your claims makes sense.

is there something wrong with that?

Yes. It’s not accurate.

Evidence?

The evidence is every one of us who walks 25K+ steps at Disney and know what that looks like. It can't be done in a normal workday.

Having said that, I think OP is probably on to something with the theory of "shrinking" your stomach for long term results.

I just walked 25,000 steps at magic kingdom last week. Here’s what that looked like: woke up. Walked to get breakfast. Walked it back to my hotel room. Walked with my family to the bus stop. Walked from the bus stop to the entrance of the park. Walked, non-stop in MK for 8 hours straight. Walked back to the bus stop. Walked back to the hotel room. This is very clearly a troll post.

this is around 1500 steps at most. it's kind of weird that you are mentioning it. i was at disney world a few years ago and it's nothing special in terms of walking. a lot of time is spent waiting in lines. not sure why you would think your 25k at magic kingdom shows i can't do 30k every day. MK is tiring but it's not only or primarily (in my case) from the walking.

I think it’s interesting that so many people are falling for what is so obviously a troll post.

so you weren't waiting in lines at all?

Not really. We had a premier pass so most rides were walk on. We did stop for 20 minutes to eat a crappy salad and overpriced chicken tenders which we ordered ahead- while we were walking.

You must have fantastic joints! Take care of them!

This is indicative of a mental disorder. You should not be happy about this. You need help.

And I do not believe you.

NP here. I was not in the overweight category, but a month ago had enough of the weight creeping on since being post-menopause. Turns out, I was jut really underestimating how many calories I was taking in. I have a goal of losing 15 lbs. in 3 months. After week 4, I had lost 6-7. I was very surprised how quickly that happened and how much easier it was than I thought it would be. 1500 calories per day is my goal--and about once a week I get closer to 2,000 because of a nice night out or a couple glasses of wine. My goal was a daily deficit of 500, so I would lose a pound a week. I think I am overcounting calories a bit and that's why I lost a bit more quickly. I run 4-5 miles 6 days a week. The 7th day I do only 3.5 then do a 30 minute weight life. I do a second 30-minute weight lift on Saturdays and a floor pilates video on Sundays. Then I walk multiple times a day--so I am now burning about 400-500 calories more a day than I was when I was gaining weight (was always doing the running--just added an extra mile per day). This really isn't that hard and can be done without drugs. I think OP's 700 per day is unhealthy. 1500 is easily doable, and I think 1200 would be the least possible to sustain.

it didn't work because it lost effect. however, i believe that, since i haven't used it in a long while, it will have an effect if i only use it rarely, in emergencies. it had a huge effect when i first tried it but then i just kind of learned to eat around it.

You didn't eat? You didn't ride anything? You were AT the park for 8 hours but did not under any circumstance walk non stop for 8 hours.

30k steps can be done easily in a much shorter time if walking with intention. Ie...exercising

If you set your mind to being healthy.. getting to a normal weight and clearing your mind

Last year I lost about 15 pound and it was extremely hard for me. I aimed to eat between 1200-160O calories per day, walk and obviously wasn’t successful, with my slow weight loss in 12 months. I was hungry all of the time and frequently didn’t follow my own plan.

I started a prescribed shot 1.5 weeks ago and lost 4-5 pounds easily already. I didn’t want to take the shot but see why people do it.

OP has the best will power in the world or is a troll.

OP, do you have a job? 30k steps is 15 miles a day. Walking that would take hours...

i work from home and have a flexible job. walking 30k takes somewhere between 3-4 hours. i typically walk 10k around the house (a lot of it during the work hours - e.g. i have always walked during calls) and around 20k outside. it depends on weather and schedule.
