I mean houses are typically reflective of a persons HHI and their largest asset -- there are exceptions, but for the vast majority of home buyers, this is true. Someone buying 1.5mm house in DC has a HHI between 300-400k, this isn't paying for the initiation fee and monthly dues at Chevy or Kenwood. Its realistic.

I heard most went private during COVID and haven't gone back to public. Maybe that's different with the younger elementary cohorts. Also think $1.5M is tight for Glover Park but haven't checked in a minute.

Does a house like this work? It’s a 15 minute drive to DC and it’s on a quiet residential neighborhood road (with no through traffic). It’s in country club hills, if you want to join the country club that could provide some community involvement.

Except that house is overpriced for what it is, and there’s about an 8 yr wait for WGCC
