Zohran Mamdani...

This is not surprising. The younger demographic is more progressive and less keen to vote for sexual predators like Cuomo and Trump.

For the life of me I still don’t understand how Cuomo was able to come back from the nursing home thing. Forget the sexual harassment scandal, the nursing home thing is what should have buried him forever. Incredible that people have such a short memory or they were just able to completely forgive him for essentially killing thousands of people.

Zionists are disgusted at his, so common nowadays, using a distorted lens of the Holocaust for his misguided selfish reasons. People CAN want Palestinians and Jews to coexist but not by lying about people wanting Israel off the map.

That’s a young person’s weather report. In-person elderly voters ain’t saving Cuomo:

The leftwing NYC socialist accounts are reposting rightwing content:

Elect this guy and just continue to allow the GOP to win elections. The political ads write themselves

I don’t see why. We have all been saying free and fair primaries. Everyone is tired of the Andrew Cuomos of the world. I’m not a New Yorker so my opinion doesn’t matter much here, But nationally we are probably going to see some establishment dems get chopped.

Agree - I don't like a lot about Mamdani but there's a reality here that Democrats need to wake up to and confront. Voters are sick and tired of lackluster corporate establishment Democrats.

Wow -- glad I don't live in NY. If these are the two D choices it says a lot about the status of the Democratic party and not in a good way.

I agree. Horrendous choices.
Who knows.... maybe the Republican candidate will win this year given the choices they have with the Dems!

Whitney Tilson is a good, solid choice.

He may actually do something to change the corruption in NYC. I hope he succeeds.

He’s won nothing. This is the problem. People like you spitting out information without doing a lick of research. This is a primary. Voting day is today. We don’t know who has won the primary yet.

Born and bred NYer here and I hope to heavens he doesn’t win. He would be a disaster for the city. The young transients are voting for him. People who moved to NY out of college and think he’ll be a good experiment. They don’t have roots in NY and if things go south, they can easily leave.

Not necessarily. Most nyc Jews are not rich fat cats on Wall Street but orthodox welfare recipients who may benefit from the socialist nyc

The irony considering Zoran Mamdani is himself rich and powerful from a rich and powerful and well connected family. What is this foolish narrative that he's a regular Joe?

That's not the narrative anyone is saying. It's that he's standing up for the working class and not taking big money unlike Cuomo who's basically speaking for corporate interests and takes money from the same donors as Trump.

He literally is rich and grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth with rich, well-connected parents. It's a show.

I don’t think he will win, but the fact that he has traction shows that people don’t want politicians that are corporate owned with one foot in the grave. I don’t think that requires being super progressive either. Just show that you are for the people and not for profit.

Mamdani is like the rich bratty kid at school who promises free ice cream to everyone. I think adults from all backgrounds should know better.

100%

Gen Z and Millennials are sick of ancient politicians who have no idea what the real world is like because they've been in office for so long and have accumulated so much wealth. The younger generations want youthful representation. Mamdani walked the length of Manhattan on Saturday, campaigning and making stops along the way and live streamed the whole thing. You think a geriatric candidate could do that? I lived in NYC in my 20s and I did that maybe twice.

Mamdani is a radical.

Please NY, go ahead. You deserve everything u get.

How is this any different from Cuomo in his 30s?

Mamdani is an elected representative in NY's state house. He's been an elected official for the past four years.

Then you were/are out of shape. Many of us walk what is equal to the length regularly. Mamdani will destroy NYC.
