A two-count indictment, which was filed under seal in federal court in Tennessee last month and unsealed Friday, alleges Abrego Garcia, 29, participated in a yearslong conspiracy to haul undocumented migrants from Texas to the interior of the country.

MORE: Justice Department investigating 2022 Abrego Garcia traffic stop: Sources
The alleged conspiracy spanned nearly a decade and involved the domestic transport of thousands of noncitizens from Mexico and Central America, including some children, in exchange for thousands of dollars, according to the indictment.

Abrego-Garica is alleged to have participated in more than 100 such trips, according to the indictment. Among those allegedly transported were members of the Salvadoran gang MS-13, sources familiar with the investigation said.

They should have flown him in, done a quick trial on the tarmac, and sent him right back home to El Salvador.

He has no business being in the US. GET HIM OUT.

He can still be deported if found not guilty because his removal order still stands. It just can’t be to El Salvador unless Trump can get a different immigration judge to remove that hold (something probably already in the works).

They should be able to given that the rival gang that he was afraid of is no longer in existence.

DOJ is producing evidence that the “fear of rival gang” claim made to the judge was actually fear of reprisal for participating in a murder in El Salvador. So that judge’s ban on a return to El Salvador will be overturned quickly.

He claimed to have met Abrego Garcia around 2015 and claimed to have hired him on multiple occasions to transport undocumented migrants from Texas to various locations in the United States, sources told ABC News."

We already know he transported workers between work sites. His wife freely admitted it. This is not human trafficking.

Government says thirty percent of the people he transported were themselves MS 13 and his own MS 13 status played a role in his actions.

except there is no proof that he is MS-13 except in Donald's warped brain.

Several judges looking at the evidence have disagreed with you, on record.

Asked and answered. Like a million times in previous threads. Moving on.

I thought Republicans were all about "legal immigration" and doing things "the right way." I keep hearing people say that over and over again.

But it turns out, you are just a racist xenophobe.

What are you talking about? Those Venezuelans PP was talking about were not legal immigrants.

Suggesting that there is no proof he was in MS-13 when judges are on the record about this very fact is absurd. There’s no “asked and answered” to your blatant falsehood.

Yup.

Trump lied. Kristi Noem lied. Marco lied.

It turns out it was very easy to get him back.

A bunch of cynical liars.

The president of El Salvador had to agree to release him, and the DOJ acknowledged this in the filing. There was indeed no way to get him back without that approval. Not sure what you think you are proving here?

Did you all notice that Bondi lied lying about "Grand Jury found that..." which is impossible because that's not what grand juries do? Grand Juries simply check tht the prosecutor has a case to bring forward. There is no defense or any checks against incorrect information or lies.

And the MAGA trolls here amplify it with "grand jury wouldn't INDICT an innocent person"?

These people hate the rule of law.
They don't care about evidence or proof.
They hate the USA and all it stands for.
They are autocrats and they are traitors.

I am the one who posted it and yes, yes they were. A great number were legal. At least for were totally AND unaccused of absolutely any crime. They were awaiting their asylum hearing.

The criminal charges won’t stick as it sounds like the evidence is all circumstantial and the one “witness” is a convicted felon who received partial immunity. Zero chance a jury will convict. That being said, he should then be deported via the “normal” process.

You realize people said the same thing about your family when they first came here, right?

No, they actually didn’t.

Citizenship matters. They are not American and that is a fact.

Neither were your family members when they first came, unless you are a native American.

The Native Americans did have a country. Nor did they form a nation or government when people started migrating here a long time ago.

The United States is now a sovereign nation with defined borders, citizens, and laws.

Hold up. There are people declaring this case “bullshit” as if the grand jurors are in some sort of anti Garcia conspiracy. If you are going to claim something like that, provide evidence, don’t just slander the grand jury!

we are proving that it was nonsense that Trump couldn't bring him back. Period. You all said it was impossible. We knew it wasn't.

You're missing the point. The point is the weak evidence the DoJ used to indict. The testimony of a felon being granted immunity isn't worth much.

I guarantee you they have additional witnesses. Possibly even some of the women he sexually assaulted.

This is what happens when you shine a spotlight on people like this scum. People come forward.

Agreed. Problem is even though people came forward, Congressional Republicans are too enmeshed with the serial rapist so they refuse to impeach him.
