I hope Paris sues them… |
Anonymous trolling rears its head. Keeping it classy on the DCUM. |
What would she sue them for? Walk through that…. They had a one year contract, Tuckahoe is letting the contract run its course and end on the expiration date. Then then have a new contract with a new company. It’s not breach of contract. It’s business.
Also, if the Tuckahoe board members are happy and satisfied with this plan that should be enough. Why not give it a try. My understanding is they have a long five year waiting list for membership so this is not going to just feed Tuckahoe NVSL summer swimming with new swimmers, that’s nonsense. Good for T! I think it’s great to have another swim option for the DMV. You can choose to have your kids swim with him or not. |
Tuckahoe recruits. T will bring any new club member to the summer team |
This is a lie. Provide the name of any swimmer recruited and your name in making the allegation. |
Clearly why the Tuckahoe Board made the decision that they did |
Entering room: Another Tuckahoe Board member trying to justify their fuzzy math and sham RFP for the financial risk they just took on behalf of the club members |
Machine parent here- why am I reading all of this on DCUM? Where is the direct communication from Paris to us parents of Machine? Why are we being kept in the dark? |
My guess is that she is scrambling to find an alternate location before contacting parents so she can say..we are no longer at Tuckahoe but are happy to announce we will be at…..
Machine probably thought Tuckahoe would keep them since it made the most financial sense and now needs a Plan B |
Probably because they just found out yesterday while setting up/running a meet. More impeccable timing by the Tuckahoe board; sending the email before taking their Machine swimmers to the meet. Keeping it classy. |
If you are finding out on this forum that Tuckahoe is losing the space or that York is losing their coach you should probably talk to your club.
Seems like communication could be an issue. |
It’s not the Board’s job to provide the notice at a time that is convenient for Paris and Machine. If she had to do a RFP weeks ago why was she not looking for space already? You know what they say about assuming. |
Seems like having a communication prepared for either scenario would have been smart business practice. |
Um. Mach parents were informed last week. Maybe the email only went to families with swimmers at Tuckahoe. Direct your outrage elsewhere. |
She has been looking for space. All this went down in a matter of weeks. Email to parents stated she submitted an RFP while also actively looking at other options. She didn’t assume anything but you certainly did and you know what they say about assuming….. |
