At inauguration his approval rate was historically low compared to other Presidents at that point in their terms:

The entire mainstream news media is in an uproar about what he’s doing. The problem is that people are paying more attention to YouTube influencers and podcasts and don’t care about the mainstream media anymore. Piers Morgan and Megyn Kelly have a lot more reach than the average Fox, CNN, or MSNBC host. So do people like Hassan Piker, to be fair.
