Ask them if it were anyone else wouldn't that violate their IT and CyberSecurity policies.

One way is to go to the representative’s website and click on the contact information. It should provide a phone number to call and a form to send an email. If you call, you can say something like: “This is Mary Smith, one of your constituents. I’d like to speak with someone regarding an article I saw in [WaPo, Reuters, wherever] regarding Elon Musk seeking to access the US Treasury’s payment systems. This is concerning to me because …”

Google your senator/representative's phone number. It will be their DC office, so a 202 area code.

You'll either get a voicemail or a staffer will answer. Just say "I'd like to leave a message for Congressman/Senator _____. My name is ______ I live in (city) and my zip code is _____." Then say what you have to say.

Oh and it's a good idea to spell out your name too.

It's also good to send an e-mail with the same. And say you like to have a conversation with Congressperson/Senator _______ or request they hold a community meeting.

People respond to volume of calls and trends. If the Mayor's office is getting bombarded or tagged on social media enough about the same thing, it does make noise that becomes harder to ignore. Same as it does for Senators and Reps.
