My upper elem kids said only 1 or 2 were missing in their classes.
So normal attendance. |
Literally no one has done that here. This sounds like anxiety talking. Your time would be much better spent reflecting on what is truly bothering you rather than continuing to type out unhinged posts to strangers. |
The real world was adjusting to the reality that our infrastructure management cannot handle 6 inches of snow and we had to make plans to keep things at home. You apparently were unable to adjust to the real world where you may have to have your kids around for a little longer and your little routines may have to wait. |
+1 this exactly |

I don't do the spa or pilates, but that does sound nice! This week I had a work trip, shoveled snow, managed kids at home, worked full time, made dinner, did 1000 loads of laundry, drove my kids to lessons, and about 100 other things, just like every other parent in this county who deals with school closures or delays, or anything else unexpected that arises. You say "It's not about ME" but then complain that a delay was inconvenient to your personal schedule. Those don't jibe. Outside of illness, there is no possible reason you couldn't send your kids to school today. The world is open. It's too bad your kids are missing out because of you. |
+1 absolutely nothing changed weather wise from Thursday to Friday. We expected it to be closed: to pivot to a 2 hr delay last minute was just idiotic. |
You are dead wrong but keep digging. Nobody cares. |
What bs. Your “kinder” has no concept of how many kids were out or even how many kids are in the class. Lol |
In PP’s warped mind, people matter of factly reporting that a lot of kids were at school and that they learned new things = “rubbing it in her face”. She also decided that she knows that “most” people in the county were planning on schools being closed today. It’s probably not worth going back and forth with someone whose grasp of reality is so tenuous. |
BS! You have been on here ranting and raving all day. You are a LOON. |
What? My K kid can certainly be like “Tommy and Joey and Susie were absent today but my other friends were all there”. Maybe they’d be off by one or two kids but they’re certainly aware of who is supposed to be there but isn’t. (NP) |
My middle schooler reported about 1/2 of the kids in each class were in attendance. All teachers were there. Reported they did not learn any new content....as the classes "seemed so short."
And the two of you who are bickering back and forth - go outside and breathe some fresh air!! Jeez. |
My local neighborhoods, main roads, and side roads have been dry since Tuesday. Hell, we drove from Fairfax to Loudoun last night for soccer practice. My plans never involved keeping things at home. |
It’s not just two people back and forth. Other people have entered. |
