Egg poster has issues. |
Inflation has gone down (reminder caused by a botched pandemic) but people can’t pay attention to facts anymore. |
I think there will be a lot more changes than 2016 as back then he didn't know much and most incl Trump were do surprised he won.
However it's a new administration and there will be a reckoning. He has the support of a lot of people and he's putting his people in slots to focus on his vision. However, I'm not sure everything he wants to do isn't justified. He'll likely make a mess out of some things and others, it won't go well. But overhauling the status quo is the right move. We have too much clutter in govt, in resources, in processes. This country needs a shake up. It's been 80 years since FDR. 250 since the birth of this country. Things change. Things evolve. Maybe he's the wrong guy to lead it but starting it isn't a mistake. |
Voters voted on kitchen table issues. Instead we're getting a clown show of Matt Gaetz type political circus. |
Inflation is down, but overall prices are not. If you salary kept up or your investment/invesment income is up, then you don't notice it so much. If it hasn't, the large increases in rent/food should be noticable and you may be doing without. |
What hairs am I splitting? No one is getting mocked for not being able to afford things. Voters who chose the person and party least likely to help them are being mocked for falling for thinly veiled bullshit. Trump was never going to save them. He doesn’t care and doesn’t know how to even if he did. They had literally no reason to think he would help them. They blamed Biden for the post pandemic economic downturn that the entire world faced, no matter what their economic policies were, which the US has fared better than most. |
Voters loved that. Why? Because it’s genuinely true that the man loves McDonald’s. |
Jesus the gaslighting is incredible. |
The democrats are the ones who ran a candidate who offered solutions for increasing costs at the grocery store. The problem is, people voted for someone who didn't even offer a concept of a plan on that front. THAT is why they are being mocked. We are ALL impacted by high grocery prices. |
Or maybe liberals and the DNC don't give a crap about the poors and we're only paying lip service about SAVING DEMOCRACY from the evil orange man. After all, regardless of who is in power, the Pelosis and Schumers get to keep their cushy jobs with good benefits. |
Other than randos on a message board, who are probably trump supporters anyhow, what elected democrats are mocking working class Americans? |
Why on earth should anyone trust the Democrats when they’re the ones telling people inflation is under control, crime is down, and the border isn’t open? It’s gaslighting plain and simple. |
They were fooled into voting for the guy who pretender to work at a closed McDonalds for a photo op instead of the woman who actually worked at McDonalds because she didn’t inherit $400 million. We’ll see how that works out. |
You're making the PPs point. And they didn't lose in "spectacular fashion". The final results are showing very slim margins in a handful of gerrymandered states. |
Then he should get competent people to overhaul the status quo. The problem is, the people he is bringing in are set to destroy it. The only ones who can survive that are the billionaires. |
