NMSF are announced in the fall. NMFs are announced in February. About 95% of NMSFs qualify as NMFs. So Alabama's full ride+ is directly relevant to OP. Everyone who received that scholarship was a NMSF in the fall of their senior year. |
Stay in the North then, Dobbs dork. The Sun Belt won't miss you. |
This the best you got? |

If she wants a really nice SEC school, maybe Georgia. Their honors college is top notch, and UGA is much more highly ranked than Alabama.

I think those kind of comments are from teenagers whose parents are paying their tuition. |
you are stupid. an NMF will NOT be paying OOS tuition, idiot. plenty of alabama kids working for FAANG and the like. |
NP-Honestly stop trying to do this on every post about a Southern school, it's played out and not in anyway relevant to the OP. No one wants to hear your ideological codswallop for the 30th time, even people that may agree with you. Just quietly read the room, take the hint and stop posting, same to the ranking snobs. |
Why do you use acronyms to start with? I have no idea what a "NMSF" is? |
| But then you have to live in Alabama. Alabama. |

Like the rest of the country, cities and college towns are usually blue dots even in the reddest states. Tuscaloosa is no different. |
Klantastic! |
The State of Georgia gives full ride scholarships to high stats in state students at UGA and GT, but has nothing like Alabama's program for OOS students. |
I think the kids going to these Southern schools are trying to escape the politics on Northern campuses. If you are passionate about politics it might be better to go to school in the North East. |
But my point is that there are other schools that would also provide similar aid. I am not making the north v south point. But UA isn’t the only school that gives great aid. |
