I got nothing because I didn't want anything. DH gets me presents for all occasions in the form of experiences. Concert tickets, weekends away together, etc. I'm not much of a tangible gift type person. Obviously these things are a little unrealistic after birth. We did go away while I was pregnant and once I was up for it, he did book me a weekend away with my best friend to just relax.

I say this as a woman with three children. Husbands endured a pregnant/postpartum wife for a lot longer than we endured pregnancy and labor. I gave mine an angler's one week holiday for each child.

This is a very weird comment. I'm pregnant right now and there's nothing for DH to "endure" - unless you mean he doesn't get to look at a small waistline right now so he deserves recompense for that?
