And didn't Bush Jr also attend? We all remember the stuff coming out of his mouth. Who was the last articulate Republican President? |
1. Who cares how old it is. It’s indicative of the extreme woke liberal environment that continues today at Yale. 2. Who cares if the professor made bank. Good for him. I would have done the same thing. I do wonder what happened to shrieking girl though. 3. Agree. It’s amazing JD advance came out of that school and managed not to be indoctrinated with a crazy liberal mindset. Good for him. |
+1 Let’s not talk about Asians’ success in America. It goes against the Dem DEI narrative. ------ You and your MAGA friends aren't the brightest, are you? Trump said he loved " the uneducated". Newsflash..India is part of Asia. Lakeland mother was Indian. |
Ok, from one person to the next, I think you spend too much time on this site. I do too. My bullet points were not that interesting. I wrote them on the metro when I should have been reading. I am turning off my device and going to sleep. I think you and I could reflect on our hobbies … — Moderately conservative, mostly socially liberal, religious freedom and gun-loving female (former left/liberal) |
PS. I think capitalism is great. The professor hopefully increased book sales. In my opinion, he has a %*^ job. In turn, the kids looked like they needed to learn how to leverage their relationships more. Maybe one or two made a bond with that prof. Hopefully they will learn make a buck too. That is how communities get ahead. |
I watched that video of undergraduates. Something interesting was in there. The professor relied “I was treating you like an adult” explaining that he confided in a student, using humor. He shared “was in trouble” or the like.
The student metaphorically threw it back in his face of the professor. She defiantly challenged him to his face. We see this happen with younger generation who are challenging authority. It’s pretty classic. About five years ago, these students used reasoned arguments, personal pleas, elegant language and emotion — and capture it on Iphone video. Plus, sure, accents of anger. I see less rock and roll and nakedness. I see technology. Besides those visual differences, I basically see the same tactics of the 1960s. I’ve seen hours of footage and read a lot about 1960s and 1970s protest experiences (for fun) — and the confrontation tactics are essentially very similar. Youth challenge status quo. Youth are mocked. Youth create change. What’s new? |
Those kids were right. Allowing blackface as a Halloween costume so that people can have a “civil discourse” about it is racist and arrogant. |
Look at the dates. Those were tweeted 18 months ago, long before Harris was a potus candidate. |
I think many of the Ivy League schools should consider more time spent on ethics… |
+1 it’s ridiculous. KH is a nobody. |
I see why Trump says he loves the uneducated who believe every lie they are told. |
That's Vice President Nobody. |
