Yeah, just like she wiped the floor with Biden on the 2020 primaries😄. Oh, wait😆 |
I believe this group was never Trumpers, and were going to give to Biden, so it follows that Harris would now receive the support |
Same here!! So excited!! |
Nice to see a sane comment. |
$81 million in 24 hours from small donors isn't an ephemeral mirage... it's more than half a million people. But also, no one is saying she's a poltiical savant. They're saying she's not Donald Trump. She has the lowest bar in the world to get over. |
They were already supporting Biden, so while it’s a fun headline it’s not really earth shattering (and I’m voting for Harris). |
You think almost 900,000 small money donors were all elites? How many elites do you think this country has? At some point, you plus a million of your buddies aren’t that elite. You become ordinary people. |
Half a million people…..all in blue states. |
What does Harris stand for? My mom and I were talking and she mused that Kamala was left of Biden. But what are her positions? What does she bring to the table that’s fresh? My mom couldn’t answer.
I’d love to have a woman president, but I don’t recall much from her 2020 campaign. She was my last choice out of all the other woman candidates, and I can tell you their positions. |
Not according to the initial analysis. Texas was the biggest source. But I'm sure you wouldn't discount Trump's fundraising from red states, right? |
She's not Trump. |
That’s hardly enough. |
The point is, it has to translate to votes! At one point in the 2020 race Kamala was the favorite and was beating everything in fundraising. It didn't translate. It doesn't translate with her. That is what is ephemeral. Given what has transpired over the last month, this sort of bump would have happened with anyone that wasn't Joe Biden. What you are seeing now is collective sight of relief, combined with grasping for hope/desperation to beat Trump. It's not a Kamala thing; don't be fooled. |
