Ftr, the CDC has updated covid guidance. Isolation and masking are no longer the recommendation. Now, stay home until you are symptom free and fever free for 24 hours. Just like any other respiratory illness.

Ehhhh... vaccines depend on the strength of your immune system to function. An 81 year old has a weaker immune system then others. Vaccines help, but they're not changing the fact that he's 81.
