You guys still don't understand that the age thing is specific to Biden - Trump doesn't present as old and saying that he's only 3 years younger than Biden or whatever isn't helping you.

DP. hate to agree with this, but it's true. It was extremely apparent at the debate last week. Trump clearly has some issues, but the delta to his previous incoherent self is smaller.

"had some issues"

Like every time he opened his mouth, he told a lie? Ya, those are some issues. He is detached from reality, and yet no one is telling the GOP to change its candidate and the corporate media sure aren't banging the drum about it. Why the double standard?

Yes - it's absolutely astounding that we aren't seeing the same outcry for Trump to drop out of the race given that absolutely outrageous stream of nonstop lies and distortions. It was undeniably a complete gish gallop of provable bullshit. I've had ENOUGH of this "yabut we expect better of Biden" crap. EXPECT BETTER OF REPUBLICANS!!!!

He does present as old. The man is 78! That's old regardless of Biden looking and being older. Most people are retired by then.

Polls say that well over 60% of voters say that Trump is too old. It’s even higher for Biden, but it’s definitely an issue for trump too. Biden just can’t make it into an issue because he’s older.

That is why getting someone else on the ticket is paramount. Harris will make Trump look incompetent and dangerous. Biden can no longer do this.

Harris didn’t even talk up her Black side until she started running for office. She is biracial and is half Indian and keeps in contact with that side of the family more than her father’s side. This effort to make her “the first Black woman” president is missleading and cynical. She’s the first Indian American president with a Jamaican father who doesn’t like her.

Obama wasn’t raised his father either. Neither are black American. Both Obama and Kamala are descendants of slave owners.

Michelle is the real African American candidate but I bet she’s still mourning her mom and doesn’t want anything to do with politics anymore

Stop yelling at people. Many of us agree with your basic premise but you keep yelling at us. No one likes it.

And yes, more should be demanded of the GOP but they own the media and have rigged multiple systems to insulate themselves from their losses. So we can only take care of our own party (and even within that it’s not like we have a lot of control).

The difference is that Biden is barely tolerated among democrats and Trump is vastly loved among republicans. And I am not talking about DNC and GOP, I am talking about actual voters.

Not true. Everyone is super grateful that he won in 2020. I literally thank God for that.

I’m an actual Democratic voter (not a “moderate Dem” on the internet) and I’ve resigned myself to Biden probably dropping out, but I don’t think Trump is actually that well loved. The densest core of cult, sure, but most Republican voters? They’re holding their nose and voting for him, and many of 2020’s Republican voters have peeled off after Trump’s coup, his theft of documents and Roe. He is odious and the bloom is off the rose.

Not too long ago it was suggested Biden dump Harris as she was a drag on his re-election due to her being polar and having horrible approval ratings. Now you see her as a strong candidate? Laughable.🙄

From the article "I care about, listen, I care about what’s happening at the border,” Harris responded. “I’m in Guatemala because my focus is dealing with the root causes of migration. There may be some who think that that is not important, but it is my firm belief that if we care about what’s happening at the border, we better care about the root causes and address them. And so that’s what I’m doing.”"

I totally agree with this position and now like her even more. Harris 2024 would be fantastic!!!

And this Republican pretending to be a Democrat is why most people want to stick with Biden. There’s literally no Democratic candidate that the mainstream media and their flying monkeys won’t rip to shreds to boost Trump.

+1. Trump also presents as a total wacko.

The "elephant in the room"......

If Biden is incapable of running for a 2nd term, is he capable of remaining president for 7 more months?

It’s a very valid question.

Yes, Trump is vastly loved among Republicans, but he is also passionately despised by most non-Republican actual voters.

The only good thing about that is that it extended the Age of Trump from eight years to twelve years.

She was assigned by Biden to fix the border in March 2021. It is now worse than it was before.
