This is ridiculous. Not in a good way.

Nooooo… Abby Phillips has so much potential, but that’s a terrible color on her, overall a very drab look.

Disagree. I like this. It's different and cool.

Chris Pine looks much older than he actually is which is 43!
Keri’s looks is way too harsh for her frame and coloring.
Also, it’s a big mishmash of styles, seems like no one knows what the dress code was supposed to be.

I looked up Chris Pine because he looked so old, and was shocked to find that he's only 43. I'm 10 years older, and look younger than he does.

Chris Pine is intentionally leaning into the DNGAF look -- he has said this publicly. He generally looks like a full-on homeless person, so this was very polished for him. I'm sad that his gorgeousness is obscured, but I'm happy for him that he's living the way he wants to!
.

Agree on Chris Pine. He went so overboard with fillers. The beard is an improvement. I'm glad he is leaning into the DNGAF look. He should take some time off and just be outside getting healthy.

Maybe she hates it, but she really looks good with a chin length or slightly longer curly bob, which she carried so nicely in the 80s. It suits her face, even matured.

I actually love that shade of yellow on a woman with her coloring. I do think the top of the dress is a bit fussy. But I think the main reason people are reacting negatively to her dress is that she is not smiling in the photos and doesn't look like she's having a great time. Compare to Lynda Carter, whose dress/outfit is just okay, but she's positively beaming and working her outfit. Attitude goes a long way in fashion.

I think it's a little funny that Keri Russell and Scarlett Johansson wore almost the same outfit but in opposite shades. Yes, technically the shape/structure of the dresses is very different, but all I see is a strapless column with a shawl draped across the neck in black, and in white. Scarlett's hair and makeup plays up her assets more but I think it's impossible for Keri to look bad. She just looks a little wan here because the hair/makeup is very severe, but still beautiful.

I think it would look less ridiculous if she wasn't going so hard on the "I'm a high fashion model, I'm giving you broken doll now." It looks super affected and silly. She has the height and looks to make that dress work (even if it's a silly dress) but she needed to remember this is a DC political function and not some fashion industry event. It makes me feel embarrassed for her.

Lot of great looks but love Rachel Brosnahan, Molly Ringwald, ScarJo...

Agree PP Karine dress is beyond awful - in general and for the occasion.

Agree on KJP - I DO NOT like this.

She had a bangin body, but the makeup is too try-hard. She should have gone understated and let the neckline be the only statement.

I do not think that neckline is appropriate for what is essentially a work dinner for her. She’s not there as a pure guest like Molly ringwald. Who goes to a work function with their boobs bared to their boss? Part of the challenge with nerd prom is hitting the right mark — I think she totally missed it. Gayle, Kamala, ScarJo, and some of the others totally hit the mark. Also I think KJP’s dress makes her look about 4 months pregnant—that is not good pleating in the front. Unless she is 4 months pregnant and that’s also why her breasts are popping out of the dress.

I agree, though I think she could get away with a low neckline like that if she kept the rest of the look very restrained. If it were just a simple black dress with that neckline but no sheer overlay or frilly sleeves or metallic print, I think she could get away with it. All the elements on the dress read as "party girl" which feels like a miss. I think especially because this event is for the press corp, and she's the liaison between the White House and the press, she should have gone more professional. If she wore something like this to an inaugural ball or holiday party, I don't think it would matter as much.

Classy. Hair and makeup on point for the occasion.

I love this (it's Heather Podesta) -- she looks gorgeous. I also thought it was Elizabeth Olsen for a split second, which is a huge compliment to Heather.

I think her hair might be my inspo for my next cut. This length is so flattering. It's like a modern update on the old DC helmet hair of the 80s -- all the volume and face framing but with way more movement. It's power hair, but shiny and healthy.

Molly was standing next to me and looked so different. She’s definitely on Ozempic!

Yes perfection!

Agree love the hair. Makeup is spot on. Dress is statuesque. Hits all the marks for this exact occasion.

I thought she went broke when Tony blew up.

That said, she crushed it here. Every last detail is perfect. Pantone should pay her residuals for anyone buying this color of green.

Hasn’t her hair basically been this style for awhile? I agree her hair and she look great. She is only early 50s, tho - seeing this look makes me feel a little justified in spending once a month in a colorist’s chair (and I hate that I feel that way).
