Make life impossible to very uncomfortable for people here illegally and guess what happens? They stop coming altogether or the influx is dramatically reduced. Once you remove all incentives for coming illegally they stop coming.

I agree with all of this - and I’m registered Democratic in a deep blue state. I swear if Biden campaigned on being willing to agree to these measures, he’d lock in a lot of surprising voters. The whining about the GOP not making a deal and Trump being a liar: DUH. It’s true. So let’s work around that.

I will support funding for a wall and razor wire and border patrol agents. Nothing else. Once we get that, then we can talk about figuring out how to deal with the people here but not even interested in that until the influx stops. Over 800 people have died at the border under Biden’s watch. How does that sound? Humanitarian? Services in Chicago for actually residents are being closed to enable funding for illegals. Good? Colorado offers free health care to illegals or families of illegals but regular poor Coloradans get buttkis. This is what the Democrats want the money for and I and tons of other Americans are DONE. Stop the crazy.

McConnell literally said Trump wants this blown up so immigration remains an issue. I guess you don't want to believe him. Either way, it doesn't matter because Johnson has already refused to bring it to the House floor, eventhough it would pass there by 200 votes.
