Walk in custom pantry and built in wine bar with under counter refrigerator.

We have laundry rooms on both the first and second floor of our house. One near the bedrooms and one near the pool. I use the one on the first floor all the time — throws from the family room, cup towels, as well as swimsuits and pool towels.

Dog wash. It’s handy for so much more than washing dogs — it’s effectively a huge utility sink.

If we had room, I would have installed built in dog crates in cabinets in the downstairs laundry room. I don’t have a cat, but I saw a magazine article about a house that had a litter box in a drawer under a cabinet and they had installed a fan in the cabinet that vented to the outside.

2. Murphy beds with usable furniture & storage on the underside such as this:

They just seem so efficient and helpful.

3. Juliette balcony -- We had a Juliette balcony added onto our bedroom two years after buying our house.
We love it. It overlooks our backyard, so my husband and I will have our coffee while sitting out on the balcony most weekend mornings, or we'll occasionally have a cocktail while watching the sunset sitting out there (by "occasionally", I mean we've done that exactly 3 times since we had it installed 4 years ago).
If I would've known how affordable it was to put up, I would've had it done to our previous home too!

There are several examples in PP’s link that show two chairs or say that they are big enough for two chairs.

+1 I grew up in a house with a laundry chute and miss that. There's no practical way to do one in my house.

The other feature I'd love is a great climbing tree for my kids. Not something I can easily add!

I don't think they are up-to-code now....fire can go right up or down the chute.
