Call the cops! That’s what they are there for! |
I would let the neighbor know that trash collection won't take these items and you will be returning them. |
So what happened OP? |
My neighbor put their trash in our van the night before it was to go out. I was still taking our own trash out from inside and opened the can to find all their empty food containers. This went on for a few weeks where they just kept putting their trash in our cans bc their cans were full. Apparently once must have been so heavy the lid of our can became broken (they put their grass clippings in it). Finally just started dumping their trash next to their can or in their driveway. That ended it. |
Dump it in their yard. Why bother posting? |
Troll post by OP. She hasn’t come back since first posting. |
Either the workers or residents thought the trash had not yet been collected when they put the trash in. On our street, the trash is collected first from one side and then from the other side. One of our neighbors across the street will put extra trash in our bin if his side had already been collected. He doesn’t tell us each time and we don’t mind because he is a great neighbor and the all trash gets collected anyway.
Since you are neighbors and have to live with each other, I would approach them politely and give them the benefit of the doubt before saying or doing something that is hard to back down from. Staying on good terms with neighbors is important. |
Wow, my neighbors expect favors and to borrow things often but I've never seen any of the neighbors near me help any other neighbor. |
Sounded real to me and I have a refined trolldar. |
