Whispers on ND are that the dead guy was an exbf of Christine's.

What's ND?

I assume Next Door.

Has seemed like a love triangle from the jump.

Really if you fire a gun under any circumstances. Or frankly if your intimate partner is murdered even if you were across the country you should have a lawyer when the police interview you.

And he probably needed to consult with his employer considering it was likely his IRS issued gun!

We always pick the best family photo of us from some trip we took that year, but the year my husband was having an affair he was so distant and weird that I just dressed the kids in Christmas colors and took a shot of them alone for our card.

And then after DDay, I got in my head about how the OW was probably like, oh see, this family is falling apart, no parents in the picture . . . which would be crazy, but here are a bunch of people judging a family from one snapshot so maybe I'm not so crazy, lol.

Anyway, it's been a family photo ever since.

Christine was the nicest and most generous person I have ever met, and I am deeply sad and shocked with this tragedy.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

For the ladies on here who are excusing the lack of family photos but then are saying they don't do them because they hate photos of themselves... please get in the damn pics! You will treasure them later. Life is too short to be worried about how you look.

I think I found the guy on Fb and deranged exbf was my first thought. His email is listed on public records as grenadedude@———, and according to his public FB profile he studied “neck snapping at Harvard”- and he doesn’t look like a chiropractor. If that’s the right guy, which I’m thinking it is because a lot of the people associated with his public records are also his friends on Fb, I 100% believe the DH.

What do you mean believe the DH? He hasn’t said anything.

I doubt the husband stabbed the wife. Men tend to choose strangling over stabbing when it comes to murdering female partners. It makes more sense for the other guy to have stabbed the wife, because he would be less likely to have the time and physical closeness required to strangle her.

I mean I believe what the DH told the dispatcher. “Around 15 minutes later, the au pair called 911 again and gave the phone to a man, who told the dispatcher he had just shot a man who was stabbing his wife.” I do not believe he stabbed his wife.

Is that why he had a gun in the house?

yes, he would have a gun as part of his job

He worked for the IRS. A bean counter with a gun?

An IRS Special Agent does carry a gun.

Still struggling to understand what type of tax enforcement requires a gun

Giving the benefit of the doubt and going with crazy ex, prior to marriage, who got more crazy with age and maybe drugs.

I’m one who says it’s normally the husband but I don’t think so here. I’m afraid this poor man tried to save his sweet wife.

IRS Criminal Investigation. Drug runners, etc. are obligated to pay taxes on their ill-gotten gains... It's how the Feds got Al Capone.

It sort of reminds me of this story with Gret Glyer:

It's hard to make sense of, if he seemed unstable why was he around the home, known to au pair, etc. It's not like a crazy family member, it's an ex.

Very sad.

Hold up now... so if a drug dealer pays his fair share of taxes, then all is good?
