Yeah, okay. That's why this happened.

She's not some insufferable and annoying astroturfed Ivy Leaguer... *proceeds to post p.r. planted cover of a magazine nobody has bought in 20 years*

In that black dress she looks absolutely stunning !

Agreed. She looks great in that black dress! Also, she is quite talented and down to earth. She was one of the invitees to a women’s forum at work and she was one of the better interviews on this forum that included others famous women as well. She is successful because of her talent and because she takes risks.

OK what is the news magazine that is relevant, according to you?

Keep digging that hole.

Keep trying, PP. Literally everyone on here has proved you're wrong. One bad picture of her in a dress you don't like (it looked so much better on instagram by the way) does not make Mindy the loser you want her to be. She's amazing, everyone here agrees. Bye now.

The hate for Mindy is truly bizarre. She is talented, generous, and uplifts women. She is funny without being cruel. She is hard working. She is my favorite celebrity and probably the only one I'd enjoy meeting. I'm a white woman careening toward middle age and I think she's awesome... I can only imagine what she means to brown and black people who have been unrepresented in film and television for years. Go, Mindy!

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Are we allowed to love Mindy and hate the dress she's wearing in the original post?

Yes—that’s where I am. She normally has such phenomenal fun fashion taste and I think this is just a miss for her. But I also think we should all stop feeding the one racist troll that wants to give all the white people exclusive credit for The Office and is personally wounded that he doesn’t know who the dad of her kids is.

+ 1. And to add, people should stop posting just about a person looking bad, especially a woman. It is really unnecessary.

Wondering if you would have called her the housekeeper if she was white and wearing that dress.

This.

lol i am latina and her dress does look like that of a housekeeper! she also wouldn't take offence being one of michael scott's employees

She's lost a good bit of weight and looks great, but really needs a stylist. Why show up on a red carpet dressed like the housekeeper?

It’s not a movie it is a show and has been put for a while now. You seem old and out touch on a lot of things in this post. Do better.

Cast on The Office? Who wrote the episodes? Steve Carrell?

Did you laugh at any of these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Television_episodes_written_by_Mindy_Kaling

Loser.

The Injury is possibly the all-time best episode of The Office. So fab.

Loser.

You could remove all of her appearances and alleged writing from the show and it would be just as successful. She has done nothing of note since the Office, so she plays the victim. A rich girl born to a rich architect and doctor in Cambridge, MA who went to Dartmouth. Such a victim!
