What you seem to be after is for people not to be questioned at all when as an artist - Taylor's entire rise as a popstar is credited to her willingness to trash her rivals and exs in songs and videos.

But we heard all about Jennifer Aniston was Single. This critique on not being married, what they wore to an event, seems to be focused much more on women than men.

I mean - the focus on Taylor dating but not being 'married' and pregnant was a DCUM thing and I totally agree is distasteful in the sense that women can be a lot more than barefoot and pregnant at 32 these days.

However let's not pretend that the media doesn't constantly obsess over who Chris Evans is dating, whether he'll get married, or what his new girlfriends are like as well. It comes with the celebrity territory.

No one is out there asking why Leonardo DiCaprio hasn’t had kids yet with the furor folks had for a Jennifer Aniston. (Men can have kids later but the kids will be at risk for issues etc).

Her political views became very clear in Lover which was the first album after she left her previous record label. She probably had a clause in her contract with them that she had to keep her mouth shut. As far as her dating life goes, she's been with Joe for like 5 years now. She's been really private about the relationship, for all we know she is married or engaged.

I don't know why people spew so much hate at her, she dated like a normal woman in her 20s and wrote songs about her relationships. In some songs she blamed the guys but in other songs she took the blame.
