Last week I am in bed and I hear a phone ringing on vibrate. My husband passes through about ten minutes later and I tell him his phone was ringing. He has 4 phones. 2 for work and 2 personal. He looks at them on the dresser and says no. I say hmm. Well it sure sounded like a phone ringing. Maybe it was the neighbors through the window, I am thinking. Yeah right, whatever.
Fast forward to this weekend and we are all on vacation in a hotel room. I had moved to the bed with my 2 year old and first thing in the morning I hear a phone ringing again on vibrate from his side of the hotel room. I'm playing with my kid and he doesn't move or say a word. I ask him who's calling and he says his phone didn't ring. I argue that I clearly heard it, he finally admits to hearing it but says it's not any of his phones. He finally says he thinks it "rang" like that because he was getting new emails from work. I asked to see his phones and he messes with them for a bit and then brings them to me which he had enough time to delete everything. I call bullshit. Is there something else I am missing? Btw all are iPhones. I feel like I am seriously going crazy. |
No normal person has 4 cell phones....especially not 2 "personal" ones. |
Why in the world would he have 2 work phones and 2 personal phones? That's already weird. |
He has 4 phones? errr... |
He has 4 phones, of course he is hiding something. |
He has a new personal phone I phone 7 plus that he says he uses just for internet. The smaller 6 for personal use.
He is apparently also switching from two work phones to one while they work out contract stuff I think. |
If everything you posted is accurate , then op I'm sorry to say this but you seem like the person that can be easily manipulated. Men like your husband chose a certain type of trusting wife for a reason. He knows you are not going to do anything about it. Next time you hear the phone ringing just pick it up and say hello. Don't ask him if it is ringing. Watch what he does and report back. |
Yea, he bought the most expensive phone available just for "internet"...sure...he doesn't sound very trustworthy. |
The "two personal phones" excuse is silly. Having one iphone for calling and one just for internet is, at a minimum, quite a bit more expensive than you would normally pay for just one phone. |
What I find shocking is not how obvious of a lie that is, but that you actually believed him. No-one buys an iPhone 7 plus just for "internet"...tablets do that much better and are half the price. |

What do you mean by "he uses it for internet"? Does he actually surf the web on the phone itself, or does he use the phone as a hotspot for wifi? If the latter, I might believe it because using your phone as a hotspot drains the battery very quickly. That's a really expensive hotspot, though. |
This part I actually believe him. We both bought them. He even asked me or encouraged me to leave my 7+ home for internet use since I am horribly rough with my phones. Kind of using it like a mini iPad mini. So if I lose my 6, then no big deal. He said he is doing the same but doesn't want to lug the big 7around in his pocket during the day since he already has a work phone as well. |
What does this even mean? Yes, he is lying. About a lot of things. |
Honestly if you believe that you're just as gullible as the OP...lmao. |
