One glass ceiling was shattered to smithereens during this election.
Kelleyanne Conway is the first campaign manager to help elect a president to office! Who would have thunk that a Republican presidential candidate would have selected a woman to fill that role. Of course, it was Reagan - another Republican - who first appointed a woman to the Supreme Court. I wonder if the first president will end up being a Republican! |

That's nowhere near as exciting as breaking the glass ceiling that has kept women out of the Oval Office for more than 240 years.
Yay women - you get to be helpers! Just don't think about getting to be the leader. |
|
The DNC just picked the most deplorable candidate they could. Perhaps on purpose so they could continue to claim victimization.
The reality is, the vast majority of the country would welcome a woman into the Executive Office. Just not HRC. |
| Please OP. She worked the election for about 1 or 2 months |
Really. How pathetic, OP. |
She wasn't there for most of it. Paul Manafort was. Which is kind of a glass ceiling itself. Never before has a political campaign openly accepted the help of the Kremlin to get elected. |
|
I wonder why Hillary did not select a woman to head up her campaign?
She talked the talk but did not walk the walk. |
Welcome? Meh. Couldn't care less, which is the way it should be. Only women of a certain age (45+, perhaps?) see this as an issue. Bella Abzug is well in the nation's collective rear view mirror. Might as well be fighting to bring down the Iron Curtain. |
Same with her staff and at Clinton Foundation. Men made more than women. Of course, that is not always because of discrimination which is why the Equal Pay act is unnecessary. The pay gap is a result of choices made by women. Some may be able to "have it all", but for many, it is just unrealistic. |

| Is it trolling to mention something factual and relevant? |
Can certainly be. May I nominate Susana Martinez, Governor of New Mexico? |
They were too busy designing confetti to look like shattered glass. |
| I am not a republican but I do think it's more likely the first woman president will be a republican |
| Dems should run DWS in 2020. Make it happen! |
