Research pretty well proves the opposite -- liberal access to reproductive healthcare in all forms (abortion, birth control, sex ed) reduces unwanted pregnancy and abortion. European countries prove this over and over again.

Europe is more restrictive...I'm ok with that
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_law

Despite a wide variation in the restrictions under which it is permitted, abortion is legal in most European countries. The exceptions are Malta, Northern Ireland, and the micro-states of Vatican City, San Marino, Liechtenstein and Andorra, where abortion is illegal or severely restricted.[47][48] The other states with existent, but less severe restrictions are Poland and Monaco. All the remaining states make abortion legal on request or for social and economic reasons during the first trimester. When it comes to later-term abortions, there are very few with laws as liberal as those of the United States.[49] Restrictions on abortion are most stringent in a few countries that are strongly observant of the Catholic faith.[47]

Most don't allow second trimester - but only under certain circumstances

Most countries in the European Union allow abortion on demand during the first trimester, with Sweden, the UK and the Netherlands having more extended time limits.[4] After the first trimester, abortion is generally allowed only under certain circumstances, such as risk to woman's life or health, fetal defects or other specific situations that may be related to the circumstances of the conception or the woman's age. For instance, in Austria, second trimester abortions are allowed only if there is a serious risk to physical health of woman (that cannot be averted by other means); risk to mental health of woman (that cannot be averted by other means); immediate risk to life of woman (that cannot be averted by other means); serious fetal impairment (physical or mental); or if the woman is under 14 years of age. Some countries, such as Denmark, allow abortion after the first trimester for a variety of reasons, including socioeconomic ones, but a woman needs an authorization to have such an abortion.[50] Similarly, in Finland, technically abortions even just up to 12 weeks require authorization from two doctors (unless special circumstances), but in practice the authorization is only a rubber stamp and it is granted if the mother simply does not wish to have a baby.[51]

No, Europe is not more restrictive with respect to when the vast number of abortions happen (first trimester). Europe is MUCH more liberal because there are MANY fewer barriers to getting an abortion.

A low percentage of rapes are reported, bright one.

Why do you want people having babies who aren’t ready to be mothers?

JFK, of COURSE it's one reason to keep Roe v Wade. Are you some kind of monster? It's not the only reason, but it's one very good reason.

In order to punish and shame them, so other women will be scared into not having sex or and will use birth control. It's logical, but horrible. Also I'm not totally sure it will reduce unintended pregnancy rates, since of course we had a high unintended pregnancy rate pre-Roe.

Alonso’s half of women polled are pro-life. The percentage between men and women is only 2%. There’s half a chance the people lobbying for pro-life are women.

So it isn’t incels. I’m divorced and dating a great woman. So I’m not some incel. I’ve dated women from all walks of life from Ivy League grad to basic state college, different races and political views. Americans, Israelis, Latino and Europeans. If politics would come up there were plenty of pro-life women.

Why do you think you have any say with what happens to women’s bodies?

I don’t. But almost half of women think the baby has a right to live and not he murdered. As a man if the child is mine I have half a say as wel

Only if you can gestate it in your own body.

Then have protected sex. The amount of failure rates of birth control measures is very small. Women don't like to take responsibility for their own actions, it's seriously an epidemic.

You had sex, the child is both of yours, he gets a say.

He chose not to get a vasectomy or wear a condom, he gets no say.

NO there isn't. You want an abortion here you go get one in most cases. In Denmark you have to have two doctors sign off. Sweden and Austria are just as restrictive.

You're rambling on spreading inaccuracies.

Great there are already abortion “controls” in place. Since you agree with controlling let’s get some gun controls in place.

He gets a say AND a mandatory vasectomy, if the woman he impregnated or the prosecutor requires it.

I do quite like the idea of vasectomies for all men of reproductive age that can only be reversed with a signed consent from their partner that they are trying to get pregnant. That seems like a reasonable approach.

So by that logic, he should ALSO get a say to force her to have an abortion as well.

Great than you will be all for the National sperm database!

You're an idiot. A simple DNA swab or paternity test can prove that. We already have the means.

Yes genius. It’s a simple swap that all men over 15 should be forced to submit and register.

NO, but if he doesn't want to have a kid he should be able to walk away no questions asked...right?
I mean you don't want a baby you kill it. At least this way it lives.

Come on, now. We all know you are referring to women. You think that WOMEN shouldn’t be having sex unless they are 100% ready to have a child. Because this reasoning will never deter men from having sex. Ever.

Well yeah the woman has the baby inside her and can only change that with medical intervention. A man - while he shouldn’t - can walk away and no one is the wiser. Might be unfair but it’s pragmstic that the person carrying the baby needs to carry greater responsibility bc there’s always a chance she’ll end up the solo parent. Is your problem that it’s unfair that the woman must carry the child? Bc I think God has something to do with that.

Religion has no place in this argument, separation of church and state. I am an atheist, I equate your god with Santa Claus. I do not require you to live by my morals and I should not have to live by yours. I do not believe that a bunch of cells is more important than my life and my goals for my life. Why don't we worry about all of the children in the foster care system, all of the children being raised in poverty and the children being detained at the border before there is any concern about abortion. Let's show more concern about the children and mothers that are already here.

And if I don't have complete sovereignty over my body, I have no freedom at all. My body, my choice!!!!

PP from directly above, I forgot to add that birth control should be free and available to all!!

Along with an incentive to make people use the free birth control. A boatload if condoms can be within arms reach, but if the man won’t put one on, what does the woman do? you

All women should have vagina swabs and register as well. That way we can keep track of how many they have.....sounds reasonable...

Sheesh...and liberals call us the Nazis...
