iPhone Monitoring App

Can anyone recommend an app that I can use to monitor my 7th graders phone - in particular texts and photos. The phone has restrictions that prevent any download of apps without my approval. Also, no snapchat.

This is a battle you are not going to win. Either don't get one or trust your DC.

Ok. Thanks for the parenting lesson.

I have my DD's phone password and check her phone nightly. That's one of our house rules. DD cannot change the password or the phone gets taken away.
The phone charges in the kitchen at 9 nightly until the next morning.

Alternatively you can set up so you get all the texts to your phone as well, but with the sheer number of texts that could get very annoying very quickly. You could have all photos sent to a shared folder on the cloud as well, and put the cloud folder on your phone too.

Have the texts and photos automatically sent to your iPad or phone. Not sure how to set it up but my husband has everything connected to my mac and iPad.

I’m not sitting around counting how much time they are on the device. With this Our Pact I set the time allocation and when it’s done it’s done.

yeah nothing is better that you kid looking at you and thinking you are the police.
That will build trust!

I have my kid's password and check periodically. However, I'm pretty sure she deletes the texts she doesn't want me to see right after she read/sends them. I'd like to get a system that copies me (not my main phone, but like my ipad?) so I can see the stuff that is getting deleted.
