| We love the look of the integrated European kitchen and would like to find something similar in spirit to Boffi and the other super-expensive (at least in the US) brands. Ikea, of course, is possible, but we're aiming for a step up from that - ideally something semi-custom. I discovered that Costco has a European line (Muller) but can't find any reviews or really much at all about those. Would love the name of a good local cabinet dealer that sells the European look for less. |

I believe there is one european line sold at Home Depot. Porcelanosa does euro kitchens, though i was surprised at their prices for a something that looked pretty identical to Ikea (if you are sticking with white).
Look at the Henry Built semi custom line Viola Park. Also try Pedini, Scavolini, Leicht. Italkraft. Alno. Those are all considered the mid points of euro kitchens, but will be a pretty big jump from ikea prices. Most expensive lines are seimatic, poggenpohl, balthup. The mid range brands are mostly italian. The expensive ones i believe are german. You probably want to avoid getting these custom made, because i gather there are chemical bans in the US that mean you'll never get the same strong lacquer finish as they have in europe. Also consider custom cabinets on ikea boxes. We did semi handmade and were very pleased. Also liked the look of kokeena custom doors, and people rave about using scheers custom doors for more traditional looking wood styles. |

The Home Depot line of frameless cabinets (aka European-style) is Innermost. http://www.innermostcabinets.com/
The pricing for our kitchen with Innermost is coming in less than Kraftmaid, but more than IKEA. |
| I priced out innermost and it was more than ikea and I don't like the HD service. I did not trust that lady to input all of my cabinet specifications correctly into the ordering system and they obviously don't let you do it yourself. It was a one hour process of her putting everything in at the store to give me an estimate. And this is AFTER I came with a finished design and all measurements clearly spelled out. |
| Reviving this thread because am looking for the exact same thing. Bonus points for US made eg from PA or OH or NC. |

i did ikea with custom slab doors and panels in high-gloss white and maple from thecabinetface.com. no regrets.
https://www.reformcph.com/us/kitchens/collections also has some great options. |
| How do the Ikea boxes feel? Am I going to get the flimsy Ikea feeling or are they more substantial? (Hoping to hear from someone who can answer that specific question, I know from previous posters that they last.) |
| I absolutely love my ikea kitchen! The only pain in the rear was ordering since I ordered all my pieces during the pandemic when everything was back ordered. |
i had the same concerns but was talked into it by my designer on my whole house renovation. i don't think they feel flimsy or cheap. i don't know how much of that is having custom doors. and the best parts about using ikea is that i know i can change my custom fronts/doors at any time and you have all the ikea custom drawer interiors and accessories. |
| We have eurocraft cabinets and I'm happy with them |
