Congratulations! I loved the story the NYTimes did on her a few years ago.

Thank goodness. Maybe someone who cares about the rising murder rate (seriously, 54% rise in murders?) and the state of our police force can get in and do the job. I get it - she's a girl (WOO HOO!) and that's fantastic, but she's been here a bit - and it's time to get someone who is up on the latest policing practices (hot spots, crime mapping) to take a look at what we can do in this city.
