How to stop other travellers eat your food supplies?

OP again. About the bacon...

His mom did bring bacon, but she never cooked it because he ate our bacon all the time. She cooked oatmeal.

Why open a second pack of bacon when one is already open?

If there’s a hot frying pan already sizzling bacon, there’s no need to wait for you to finish up so I can start cooking bacon from scratch.

We came back from the trip. I have to say that most of our travel companions were normal.

The problem is really just one kid, a 13 year old boy. He's just a greedy little a**hole. He ate all the other family's cookies, drunk all their sodas and didn't want to eat what his mother cooked him, but he wanted our food for EVERY meal.

The same problem we had with him last time. His mom doesn't tell him no.

Everyone else acted normal and everyone shared the extras they had.

So, it sounds like the problem is not really multiple travelers eating your food supplies, but instead a single out of control kid? Did you have a chat with the kid or his mom about the behavior?

I didn’t scold the kid. I’m not sure his parents would appreciate it.
His mother is aware of his behavior.
I heard her say “Larlo, you can’t drink all their soda”, but Larlo doesn’t listen.

And then sh was like “Larlo really likes scrambled egss.
Can you share some with him?” “Larlo really likes bacon. Can he have some?” “Larlo wants to try your waffles, could you give him some?”
All while cooking oatmeal.

Geez OP. That doesn’t sound like fun. Your friend sounds like #boymom and he’s her little man. Hard to deal with. Personally I love bacon but it takes awhile to cook and I wouldn’t want to cook two entire packages. He sounds like a real brat.

But, do you see how this all could have been avoided by simply doing group breakfast/lunch/dinner?

The problem is you went into a group vacation with a shared kitchen trying to distinguish food between families.

If his mom was on the hook to make bacon and eggs for the group, you would have been chilling with your coffee.

WOW that mom is RUDE AF. And her kid sounds like a little ahole too.

So after all this discussion about kids it's turns out to be one kid! Well you need to either buy extra food for one child (of you want to avoid conflict) or address it with his parents.

It’s obvious that Larlo mom is just fine with OP doing her cooking for her. No doubt Larlis mom told the other two not to eat other couples food but Mr Larlo knew he could get away with it.

When you start calling other people's kids greedy a'holes it's clear that group travel is not for you, or group travel in this crazy way is not for you.
