| Any recs for best Japanese straigntening place in DC metro? I am willing to drive. Also if you have done it, are you happy with it and would you do it again? |

I used to get thermal reconditioning but don't anymore. I got it in Beverly Hills, not DC, so can't recommend a good place, I started in 2002 and had it done for maybe 3-4 years.
I liked it for awhile but it got old. It's pricey, takes forever to do, isn't comfortable to get and I got major breakage despite taking really great care of my hair. Plus, IMO, super duper stick straight hair is out now...except maybe for Ashley Simpson and her idiot flat-haired DH. |
| I love it. I get it done every 6 to 8 months at the Roche Salon in DC. I highly recommend Ruth. |
| I got it done twice at David's in Rockville and was very happy with it. I have since switched to the Brazilian keratin at the same salon and like that even better. It depends on how straight you want your hair to be. |

Try Alchemy Salon for thermal reconditioning.

Jason @ INARI Salon by the McPherson Square Metro does a wonderful job. The salon is pretty new and it's gorgeous. Everything about the salon was upscale except the price. |
