BCC v Whitman? Tours or Open Houses?

We live near BCC but are considering a move to the Whitman district. Son is in 7th grade. My wife and I would like to visit the school campuses and see which one we like better. Do these schools have open houses for prospective students/parents? Can we get a tour? Anyone with a child at either willing to volunteer to tour? Thanks!

BCC holds a once-a-month tour during the school year. When I went it was led by a PTA rep and they also (separately through the assistant principal) offered an opportunity for a shadow visit. I believe that students already at Westland are offered a more extensive orientation visit sometime during the spring but I have no personal experience of that.

Thanks for mentioning the BCC tours. Does anyone know if Whitman has similar tours? There's nothing on their website I can find.

We did a tour with the principal and my daughter did a 1/2 day shadow visit at Whitman. Just call the school.
