How are teams shaping up now that most of the offers are out?

What is going on with the girls? Coaches are fired then rehired. Girls in tears.

NVU doesn't have field permits and has to pay $$) to rent field space at Mason.

They also haven't been accepted into NCSL. So they pay GFR to get their teams into NCSL, and to access their fields for game slots.

Not sure if they get GFR practice space or not.

What has been communicated by NM or GFR for next year's league competition. Wouldn't be surprised if they left ECNL RL and with no connection to Union that they would try to get into GA or GA Aspire.

GA and MLS next charters have already been announced for 2025-2026. GFR will still be playing ECNL RL from what we've been told.

Keep up. The post said “GA and MLS next charters have already been announced for 2025-2026.” Not for GFR. So BS on that, unless someone wants to post where.

lol okay. the point was that GA and MLS charters have been announced and GFR was not one of them. They are still ECNL RL.

ECNL-R is basically NCSL top division rec + travel for all the big area clubs 2nd team and the small club first teams. It’s not that big of a deal to be in ECNL-R.

Your kid will make the local HS team but most likely will not play in college if you are on a RL team

Sounds like a decent deal to me

The landscape is still shifting so much. GFR is simply sitting back and letting some of this soccer war work itself out and can then make a reasonable choice next year on which league fits best for them. GFR will not stay ECNL-RL only for more than a year. I will write it down on a piece of paper now!

GFR got left in the dust. They were too busy with Board drama and internal issues to realize they missed the boat.

What options will they have next year? MLSN/GA? ECNL? Doubt it.
