Well, watching the news now. I'm pretty sure all the protesters with their Mexican and Argentinian flags would hurt and even kill the law enforcement people on the scene if they can isolate one. So it's not unreasonable for police to have the protection they can under the circumstances.

But in the videos, they are attacking cars that are driving by with rocks. The cars never slowed down or engaged. And there were at least a dozen cars that drove by, were attacked, and kept driving. How is this self defense when those people didnt engage with the rock throwers at all?
