Greenspan - IEP

Anonymous
It sounds like a lot of families have received a lot of good advice from Dr. Greenspan. However, how has this translated into an IEP? Does Dr. Greenspan's recommendation of, say, 4 -6 Floortime sessions per day mean that anyone has succeeded in getting the equivalent in Special Ed services?

What does a Greenspan "recommendation" look like in the reality of implementation world?

I am really curious about this too particularly for kids with regulatory issues. We might not qualify for an IEP but would ask for a 504.

IEP's don't work that way. The IEP defines the goals, not how you're going to achieve the goals.
