I don't know about tiny, weird body. He is slim, yes, but I think Americans are conditioned to look at normal healthy body types outside of the U.S. and think skinny and tiny because we are a fat nation.

He hasn’t touched hard drugs in years. Just because someone made a mistake in their past doesn’t make them a bad person. None of us are perfect. I have a friend who missed a year in college because she was an addict. It was very bad. She is a mom and a surgeon now who saves lives on a daily basis.

My take (for what it's worth, which isn't much) is that she finally admitted it because it's finally closed. Putting it out there is what slams the door shut for good. That's how I listen to the album and the takeaway that I'm getting from it.

Well, it didn't work with Matty Healy did it? Or any of the others that came before him/after him/during him, however that all works. She stayed fairly consistent with "type" for a while and it didn't work. Wouldn't you be willing to try something different after all that "type" didn't work? Travis isn't all of that (he might be dirty sex, but who knows...), but he's also not all of the toxicity that she experienced. He's also not all the "intimidated by her fans" nonsense. He brought them along and celebrated them and gave them credit for the podcast popularity. He gave them credit for the Eagles Christmas song going to number one. He's not intimidated by her fame because he's seeking it himself. Yeah, I said it. I think he's seeking fame so this doesn't bother him; I don't think it's why he's dating her, it just makes the reason that others flee not an issue for him. He loves it. And he clearly dotes on her and is proud to be with her. You can't say that of literally any of her former guys. Not a single one. Your partner doesn't have to be all of that for you. She's super tight with Aaron Dessner and he also thinks on a different level and is musically extraordinary in my opinion. She can find that with others. Most people grow up and get over the guys they pursued who were the best sex ever or they had the best intellectual chemistry with, but made for terrible relationships.
