Anyone have any tips for cleaning urine off painted walls? The wall next to our changing table has a few stains due to our 3 month baby boy! |
Baby wipes. |
Mrs. Meyers in a bucket with a rag. Same way I clean my bathroom floors (which have pee even if you can't see it) |
ditto on baby wipes. i use those things on everything |
Have you tried a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? |
Ew. Then you have pee on the magic eraser. |
Lysol wipes. |
Ah ha ha ha. My three year old used to intentionally stand in his bed and pee into a corner. It took us a few days to figure it out. Ain't no Magic Eraser big enough. |
I'm not sure I understand, are you not immediately wiping it off when he does it? Do you really just let the pee sit on the wall? When it's wet it should come up with a wipe pretty quick. |
Bleach spray or bleach based wipes. Or, natures miracle (for pets) to get rid of the urine smell. |
What if the wall isn't white? |
Hot water with some white vinegar splashed in. Use a rag to wipe down the area with the solution.
You clean pee off the wall the same way you clean anything. |
Then just nature's miracle. Although some color walls withstand some bleach (not full strength) and not discolor. |
Start with a Lysol or Clorox wipe. If that doesn't clean it off, switch to one of those enzyme cleaners you get from the pet store. If you don't have any enzyme cleaner, then get some. You will need it for many more years of pee and barf. It will miraculously clean stains and smells from carpet, upholstery, mattresses, etc. |
This just took the paint off our walls (or at least the pigment out of the paint). |
