I just went and checked it - remember when Lunch Petitioner posted that unhinged rant about how unsafe schools were to open...in August 20201! Thank god SB1303 took away power from those nuts (which she was also ranting about on AEM).

And cases have gone down throughout the country. Japan just came out with a study that showed school closures had NO causal effect on cases.

You all have moved along to wanting kids to mask in school forever. Oh, "not forever" you say, just you won't give any offramps whatsoever for a virus that will be here forever and you will possibly consider to discuss it at the end of this school year for the following school year, which at what point you'll say it's too early and we'll need to wait until 8 weeks into the next school to begin discussing it, where you will say it's too early again to give any offramps (and it will just go on and on).

Bizarre that APE thinks anyone who wants safety in schools is pushing closed schools. Mitigation is what allows schools to be open, dummies.

If APE gets what it wants - zero mitigation in schools - then schools would have to close. They just don't get it. Or maybe they do and just want to keep complaining. That is what they do best.

Good thing no one listens to them. They have zero credibility after all their screaming, attacks and weirdly obsessive behavior that they can't seem to stop.

Yes, this is a seasonal virus. Cases are now plunging in Florida, such that it has the lowest COVID case rate per capita in the US (and no masks at schools, except for a few districts). Georgia, Texas are also in the lowest 10 states, lower than California. Correlation is not causation, as you like think (but only when it fits your own belief system).

Those awful Europeans, many of whose kids have been going maskless to school since last school year.

Mask offramps are coming, just wait. Otherwise, you're just pushing forever masking (and don't say I don't want to mask forever, I'll just tell you later - doesn't work).

You didn't read the article, which makes the COVIDian posting it look even dumber. It's mainly about countries in Eastern Europe (many in the EU) with very low vaccination rates causing an increase in cases with a seasonal surge (similar to regions hundreds or thousands of miles away with low vaccination rates a few months ago).

Yes, the AEM crazies need your kids to mask forever (or to some later time period that will never be disclosed) because there are anti-vaxxers in rural Arkansas.
