This, exactly. The puregressives are always attacking the Democrats for not living up to their purpoted ideals, never mind the GOP touting themselves as the party of "family values" and "pro life" while 67,000+ people and counting have died in 2 months from a pandemic that their administration is in denial of. |
Deflect! |
There is a law requiring Trump to release his tax returns, fool. The tax code provides that Congress’ tax committees—including the House Committee on Ways and Means, the Senate Committee on Finance, and the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT)—are entitled to obtain any tax returns from the IRS that they request. 3 Section 6103(f)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) reads: Upon written request from the chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives, the chairman of the Committee on Finance of the Senate, or the chairman of the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Secretary [of the Treasury] shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request, except that any return or return information which can be associated with, or otherwise identify, directly or indirectly, a particular taxpayer shall be furnished to such committee only when sitting in closed executive session unless such taxpayer otherwise consents in writing to such disclosure. |
The original ones with the Reade interview? |
Uh, there is a law requiring them, but like everthing else, it is being ignored. See the legal filings. |
That's Trump's logic. Fifty years of precedent had candidates release tax returns. In 2012, Trump wasn't releasing his returns because he had something to hide. When Romney released his returns, indeed the information in it was used against him. Then Trump refused to release his returns and won anyway. So, really, the new rule is that you are just better off hiding everything, whether there is anything there or not. And your opponents are best off forcing it out of you. |
+1 Of all people with questionable tales and motives... E. Jean Carroll is at the top of the list. |
Making little girls feel uncomfortable is not a crime. We have videos of Trump making millions of people uncomfortable every day. No we can't have Cuomo. Biden won the primaries, therefore he is the nominee. Sorry. That's democracy. Nobody ever said the primary system would turn out a guaranteed winner. Cuomo's no guarantee either. I'm sure the Republican's can find some women to say he looked at them funny or something. |
She has the dress. A little dna sample should clear this right up. |

+ a million They are truly masters of deflection. |
Cool Let’s have trump had over his tax returns. Let’s hear from all the witnesses he hid from impeachment while we’re at it. And we’ll let some reporters dig through Delaware. Deal? |
This. The fact that you don't know that there is a law specifically requiring the IRS to give Trump's tax returns to Congress upon request tells everyone how entirely uninformed you are. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/why-the-irs-is-legally-required-to-give-congress-trumps-tax-returns-but-probably-wont |
The judge requiring Trump’s DNA disagreed. |
