Annoying things people make their whole personality

Religious people who have to post about their religion all the time

SAHMs with kids in school full time who go on and on about how busy they are. With home decorating choices, going to the gym, driving their kids to activities...stop going on and on about it, especially to your friends who work full time.

Guess what- I am a stay at home mom with no help and I am busier than my friends who work full time. They get a break from their kids and houses. I’m expected to do it all even with little ones hanging onto me constantly.

HAHAHAHA.

- Eco-moms who get upset at disposable stuff

- Parents who make bragging about kids success of money their identity
-“I’m a New Yorker” people
-Bro’s who think that they are superior based on their high school
-Political name droppers
- Inappropriate bikini Mom at boring DC swim club
-Vacation House person

Are all bikinis inappropriate to this poster? Or is it the fact that a mom dares to have a body that is in shape? Or a mom in any shape dares to wear a bikini?

- I'm so cool because I live in Brooklyn, Austin, Denver or Seattle people
- Super skinny guys who live in Brooklyn and speak in that annoying pseudo artsy/gay affectation (my sister dated one)
- people who drive giant, black SUVs
- mega triathlon people who are into the whole push yourself mindset
- insular people who live in my Midwest city that is really a "large, small town"
- cycling people who wear those stupid outfits. Shorts and a T-shirt are fine
- rednecks with right wing shirts

This has to be one of the funniest threads even on DCUM. Unfortunately, I have met a lot of the personalities listed.

I love it too. I know some people hate the mean spirited threads, but I personally find this cathartic, and it's easier for me to deal with this behavior in the world when I have somewhere to vent about it.

I also think it's worth it to read through because some of the comments have hit a little close to home and it's a reminder to be self-aware about your own obsessions. It's fine to have a "thing" but imposing it on everyone else and making everything in your life about it is obnoxious for those around you. Reading this thread actually reminded me to be careful about not getting too wrapped up in my DD's life, because I definitely have a tendency to lean in hard on that, and it's healthy for me to take a step back, let her live her life, and have my own hobbies and interests.

As a dog mom, I look forward to your well wishes on Mother’s Day.

Stay mad. 😁😁
